  • Weekly Update, 28th April

    Staff Car Park

Whilst parents are welcome to use the car park to drop children off for Breakfast Club and to collect from After School Club at 5pm, please mindful that staff will be coming in and going out, especially in the morning. We have had several instances recently where staff have not been able to access the car park and have been held up coming in, having a knock on effect to the start of their day.

    NEU Teacher Strikes

There is a strike day next week -Tuesday, 2nd May. As before, not all our teachers are eligible to strike, but those that are do not have to let the school know in advance. If I know of any likely disruption in advance, I will let you know.

Please bring in a sweetie jar/surprise jar to donate to the PTA summer fair.

This is also the last day of Year 6 SATs so it will be a double celebration for some! The Prefects are going to be planning the afternoon which will include a visit from Rev’d Jamie with some very special gifts for everyone from the Church. More information will follow, as soon as arrangements have been made.

    Fosse Schools Concert

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our choir as they took part in the “One World” Fosse Concert. It was a lovely evening and the children really did themselves proud.

Sports Day 2023 – Weather permitting!

As we have the building work due to start in late May, we have brought Sports Day forward to Friday, 19th May.

Just like last year, the children will compete in various team events in the morning and then we will run the athletics in the afternoon. Everyone is welcome to come and cheer them on from 2pm.

If we do have to change the date due to the weather or state of the field, we will let you know as soon as we can.
