Beauty and the Beast – Christmas treat from the PTA

The PTA are treating the whole school to a trip to see Beauty and the Beast at Melton Theatre on Thursday, 14th December. This has been made possible by the tremendous amount of fundraising they carry out each year. So, if you have bought a cake, a raffle ticket, donated a prize or supported in any other way – THANK YOU!

Children in Need – Friday 17th November

Inspired by Pudsey’s multi-coloured eye patch, the prefects are inviting everyone to come in colourful clothes on Friday 17th and bring a donation for Children in Need. Over the course of that week, the classes will be taking part in the 1000 Burpee Challenge, can each class make it to 1000 by the end of the week?

PTA Christmas Fair 15th November

7-9 p.m. Old Dalby Village Hall. We need donations of mince pies to sell at the market, please drop off any donations to the school office by Friday 10th November. Thank you.

Music for Schools Foundation

Following two very entertaining music themed assemblies at the start of the week for children in Year 2 upwards, we will be working with the Music for Schools Foundation to offer access to individual and small group music lessons. Mrs Hickton, who also works as a tutor for the Foundation, will be available to discuss what is on offer and will have a range of instruments to view in Puffin Class, after school on Friday 10th November. Please feel free to drop in and have a chat about what is available.
