CLUBS and DINNERS
As it is nearly the end of term, please make sure that you pay any outstanding money for Clubs and school meals. Thank you
Music Lessons
There will be no music lessons next week apart from those children who have been emailed separately.
There is no PE or Forest School next week (Yr 6 have a special session on Monday)
SUMMER PARTY- Monday 7th July
The PTA are hosting an end of year Summer Party for all children on Monday 7th July from 6-7.00pm. Weather permitting the party will be mainly outdoors on the playground & field, with music, activities, refreshments and nik naks to buy. There will be Glitter Tattoos, Festival make-up, Bubble wands, nail painting and lots more. Entry is free.
School Meals – next academic year
Due to rising costs, the cost of a school meal will rise from £2.75 to £2.95 from the start of the Autumn Term.
After School Clubs
In the Autumn Term After School Club hours will be extended to 5.30 p.m.
Sessions can be booked until 4.30 p.m. (£5) or 5.30 p.m. (£7)
Those children staying until 5.30 will have a meal:
Monday – Cheese pizza
Tuesday – Spaghetti on toast
Wednesday – hot dogs
Thursday - pasta bake
Friday – Selection from the above
All accompanied with crisps, carrot, cucumber, yoghurt and a chocolate bar.
After School Club Activities will be:
Monday - Football
Tuesday – Rounders
Wednesday – Playground circuits
Thursday – Team building games
Friday – Freedom Friday
PTA RAFFLE – CAN YOU DONATE A PRIZE?
We will be running our PTA raffle at the start of next term and we are looking for donations of prizes. If you, or anyone you know, is willing to donate a prize, anything from vouchers, experiences, household items, gifts etc….anything that someone would be pleased to win in a raffle, please can you let us know, either speak to one of the PTA members, Mrs Browne, or email PTA@olddalbyschool.org.uk
All donations will be greatly appreciated!
WE NEED YOUR HELP – FRIDAY CAKE SALE SOS!!
Every Friday our kids enjoy a sweet treat, cake, cookie or doughnut. This helps to fund amazing school trips. About £2000 is raised each year from cake sales alone.
BUT THE CAKE SALE IS IN TROUBLE!!
Every week it is harder to find help. Sometimes only one person is available to run it alone.
- Please help sell cakes for 20-30 minutes after school on a Friday
- Lend a hand packing away
No baking is required unless you want to. Just a little time now and then.
If you can help, please speak to Julia or Katie or pop to the cake sale on Friday.
