Harvest 2020
This year we are celebrating Harvest in the week starting 12th October. We can't go to Church but we will be holding Harvest themed Collective Worships in school, creating works of art and talking about what we are grateful for - something which is especially important this year.
To start our week, we have a special Worship, led by Rev'd Jamie:
All week we have been doing activities to celebrate Harvest and to consider what we are grateful for. Now, more than ever, we need to take a moment and think of all the parts of our lives that bring us joy and see thank you for them.
Class 1 have worked together to creates harvest collages:
Class 2 have made created very atmospheric autumn pictures and made harvest wreaths to show what they are thankful for:
Class 3 have created some beautiful harvest wreaths and worked together to write a whole class poem:
Class 4 practised signing to the song 'harvest samba' and created some harvest themed art and poems.
